ijimaphi le weight

First things first:
I've been neglecting those trillions of you that read my blog, and I apologize. I've been a bit busy with work, and also slightly depressed. Now's a good time to mention (for the first time on this blog), that I'm married. And things aren't going too well with my wife. My wife is in America (which has been established as a place where I am not), and we've never done too well with a long distance relationship, even though most of our relationship has been spent apart. I suppose we lasted longer than most would, under the circumstances.

The second of the things comes... second.
You may (or may not) have noticed that this is my first blog post with a title longer than one word. I promise, it won't happen often. It's the title (and chorus) from a song about, well... going to the gym. I've decided that I'm gonna start working out again. My brother has a couple of 15KG (33LBS) dumbells that I'm gonna use, and I'll be doing pushups and situps. I just did a few curls and some squats and some pushups. I'm terribly out of shape. Used to be that the amount of repititions that I just completed with the 15KG weights was what I could do with 30KG weights. Also, I started getting a bit tired after 5 pushups; I used to be able to do 60 in a minute without breaking a sweat. I'll get back up there, though. I can feel my muscles rejoicing at doing some work again.

I really want to write a story, but I haven't had any creative inspiration recently. Also, my writing sucks. I think I've lost my voice.

forgotten

It's not really that I've forgotten about blogging, but I've been really busy and I just haven't had the drive to come on here and write something for all you trillions of readers. I don't really have much to write about now, either.

I was just talking to my friend Stuart on Skype for the first time in ages. I was talking to him about Blooping (u_u) and he asked if I blogged. It reminded me about my neglected blog. Stu's a good friend like that. Stuart lives in America, which is not where I live. This makes communication tough.

Work's been kinda hectic. I've always got really hectic shifts and it's just annoying.

I'll try blog more. For now, y los sueños, sueños son.

blooping

So, a few days ago I posted about blogging from the toilet and I was just telling my youngest brother about it (because I'm blogging from the toilet again and he thought it was weird that I was going to the toilet with my computer). His name is Brogan. And he loves poop.

Anyway, he came up with a good term for blogging from the toilet -- Blooping. So that's what I'm doing now. I hope it doesn't become a habit, but this is already second time I'm doing it so it might be too late for me to be saved. Oh, the horror!

I haven't had a whole lot of time to blog lately, but I'm off work today and I felt like I should post something up. Not much to say, though. I'm a bit broke and I can't wait for pay day, but that's WAY off. At least I'll be more appreciative of my money when it does come in. C'mooooooon 25th!

Anyway. I wish people were actually reading this. And I wish people were actually commenting. I wonder if I can find myself on Google? I wonder what keywords I'll need to use. O_o

singing

Well, one of my favorite things to do is sing. I really enjoy going out and singing kareoke, and I'm getting pretty good at it. I have a good voice, but it's taken me a little bit of time to get used to singing in front of a crowd. People enjoy it when I sing, though.

And so tonight, I'm thinking about going to the local bar where they have kareoke on Friday nights. I don't have a whole lot of money since I just bought a laptop and internet this month, so I don't know if I should go. I kinda need to time to relax, though. And singing always makes me feel much better. Maybe I'll just go for a couple drinks and a couple songs to match. But I always say that and I usually end up staying quite a bit longer than usual. Though I went for a couple drinks the other night with my friend Chris and I didn't stay out long. I literally just stayed for a couple of drinks and then came back home. We'll see how it goes.

I'm working Nightshift tomorrow, which should be cool. I'm a bit tired from having so many days off recently -- I always start feeling really lazy when I relax too much. I'll be working a stretch of 6 nightshifts... hopefully that goes alright. Maybe it'll help me get some energy back.

What should I sing tonight?
All the usual, I suppose.

off

So, last week I had the 26th through the 29th off from work. It was pretty cool to get so many days off, but I spent most of the time relaxing. I only get eight days off a month, and last month had five weekends. So where most people will get ten days, I was shorted. I went back on the 30th and 31st for graveyard shifts, and now all of a sudden I'm off again. I'm supposed to go back to work on Sunday (yes, that's another four days off), but somebody asked if I could work on Saturday and she'll give me one of her off days later in the month. We're waiting to see if the managers will approve the switch.

Today, I've just been relaxing. I've been messing around on the internet, watching shows, and playing Civilization V. My neck hurts, since I'm lying on my side while using my laptop instead of sitting with it on my lap... top. I'm starting to feel a little bit hungry, so I'm thinking I should make or buy myself something to eat. It's around supper time here*, so maybe dinner will be made soon.

I'm enjoying having internet again. It's been way too long.

*now you should have an estimate of the timezone in which I reside. Getting warmer....

first

Apparently I started this blog on the First of March, 2008. Which means that I was still at home. I don't recall doing this, but it's okay because I didn't post anything anyway.

I'm lying in my bed drinking half-frozen water. It's almost winter* but I'm feeling pretty warm here. The water helps. Also, my throat feels dry.

Today, my friend Chris gave me some samples of his handbags to see if I can sell them when I get back into work. I'm only going back on Saturday, but I'll take one or two of them in and see if anybody likes them. I should be able to move some stock around payday every month -- women in the casino industry love to wear fashionable accessories. It means I'll be helping Chris out since business isn't going so well and I'll also make a bit of money for myself on the side.

Looking forward to a relaxing day off tomorrow. For now, it's time to watch some Dexter. Or Heroes. Or Bones. Or Haven. Damn my varied tastes.

*by now, you should know in which hemisphere I reside. You should also have an idea of my distance from the equator.
